Network Engineer

Mr. Blanco is the Network Engineer for the National Coordination Office (NCO) for Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NITRD). His main duties include LAN administration, hardware configuration, and general network support, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Additionally, his day-to-day operations include staff support, technology research and assessment, and problem management.

Prior to joining NCO, Mr. Blanco was a Network Engineer for Vencore where he supported the GSA, USDA and Department of Commerce. He was responsible for the day to day infrastructure maintenance, health of servers and desktop customer support at the GSA. Mr. Blanco was responsible for providing application support and was a member of the team that ensured FISMA Compliance and C&A certification. He was responsible for the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System and provided day to day support of the CMMS system at the USDA.
