Ms. Joan Cole
Executive Assistant

Ms. Cole is the Executive Assistant for the National Coordination Office (NCO) for Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NITRD). She provides high-level executive support to the NCO Director. She is the NCO administrative liaison to the White House, Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and the National Science Foundation (NSF) Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Directorate for matters relating to the activities of the NCO Director as they relate to the NCO/NITRD Program. Ms. Cole also provides administrative and logistical support for all NITRD Senior Steering Group (SSG) meetings, conferences, and workshops and provides support to the NCO Program Manager.

Prior to joining the NCO, Ms. Cole was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Federal Civilian and Intelligence Business Unit. She assisted the Vice President and Management staff with daily operations that included preparing draft inputs for various reports, assisted in the preparing material and presentations for meeting/events and performing quality control, proofreading, and editing of various reports.

Ms. Cole has over 10 years of experience working as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant. She received her B.A. in Business Administration from Schiller International University, London, England.
